How do we get started?
All clients get a free 1-hour consultation with one of our experts.
After this, we tend to suggest a strategic workshop. We know the term workshop is overused in our industry, and it can be off-putting. Put simply, we just spend some time with you to understand the problems you are trying to solve or the goals you want to hit.
We summarise the requirements and give you timings and costs. No confusing docs, we promise. Workshops give you a view of where you are now, where you want to go and how we can get you there.
How do we work?
We work in sprints
For larger projects, your project can be divided into development sprints. We then attack these at an accelerated pace with a small team of developers for four days. Clients get frequent reviews. It allows us to quickly deliver large chunks of requirements or functionality.
Kanban-style project management
This is a well-known Agile Project Management methodology. We use it to provide more flexibility. You can lead the development on an almost daily basis. It also means that we can kickstart quickly by starting on high-level requirements. The increased communication here works well for the complex parts of projects.
No tech-speak. We promise.
We have promised ourselves and the companies we work with not to speak in tech riddles. We think that this is the single biggest frustration with our industry. We aim to talk plainly, and if you think we aren’t living up to this then please tell us!
How do I pay?
Once a set of deliverables are decided.
Then as we meet a deliverable, you pay for it. You decide on your billing payment splits, e.g., 2/4 weekly. You pay 50% of each split upfront, and you can tie the payments to functionality.
Our aim is to have an easy quote process for our clients. Account managers and senior team members are involved throughout.
How do you reassure me?

Reports
If we’re working on a software project together, you will receive reports based on the time/project splits that you have chosen. You can use these to check against requirements.

Transparency
We use a project management tool that means that you can log in and check on us. We aim to be completely open.

No single point
Every client has a minimum of two developers allocated. This means that there’s never a single point of failure.
How long is it going to take?
This obviously depends on the complexity and your availability. If you are readily available for questions and information gathering, we can increase speed and increase resources to work to a shorter timeline. You can let us know how you want to work, and we can adjust the timelines accordingly.
How much is it going to cost?
We can’t tell you how much your project will cost, but we can tell you we charge £760/day. We can adapt the price far more than you will likely imagine. If we know your budget in 90% of cases we can make that work. If we can’t, we look at alternative options.
